Recycling
During the World War II years we recycled
because there was a demand for metals, paper
and other items used for the "war effort"......
Here some 60 years later, people have once
again spent time and effort in the recycling
of metals and paper in order to be "green"
and "clean the earth"......But today's recycling
has a "catch".....Someone has to make
money doing "it"......
Well, because of the current economic
"down-turn", it seems that there is no longer
any money in "it" and people are losing
interest in being "green"......
I believe that until our economy improves,
and there is money one again in recycling,
the people who say we should continue
to recycle should volunteer their free time
in collection of used metals and paper......
Let their words be converted in actions...Pumps
