Pumps' Perplexities

Throughout history there have been men (and I suppose
woman) who have fought battles and wars because
there was money in it......They are of a certain breed
and "do their thing" for money.......

I remember, when I was younger, reading copies of
"Soldier Of Fortune".......(You want to fight someone,
write a letter to this PO Box in some part of the world
and join the battle for "cash".)........

Well it appears that we are now in the age of "political
correctness"........These mercenaries are now being
referred to as "contractors"........Why not......We call
the "garbage man" a "sanitary engineer" and a "salesperson"
an "associate", these days........Pumps
