Weather Panic

I think it was Mark Twain that said, "If you do not like the
weather wait 15 minutes and it will change."......That was
said somewhere back in the late 1800's.......

On May 30th and 31st, my TV newscasts contained a
story about Lake Okeechobee in Florida......It seemed that
the lake was going dry and was 4 feet below its normal
water level......It was "panic time"......The whole ecosystem
of South Florida was ready to implode......

Well on June 1st and June 2nd, my TV newscasts contain
a story about Tropical Depression Barry which was bringing
39 MPH wind and rain to South Florida.......It is "panic time".....
The hurricane season started on June 1st......Everyone is
doomed.......

No where did I see a story that mentioned the fact that
the much needed rain was once again going to partially
refill Lake Okeechobee and supply water to the people
and crops in Florida......Not once did a reporter say, "Thanks
for the rain."........Pumps
