Global Warming News
As reported by an Australian newspaper, the Netherlands
Environmental Assessment Agency has concluded that
China has surged past the United States in becoming the
world's biggest producer of greenhouse gases....In 2006
their carbon emissions were 8% higher due to burning of
fossil fuels, cement production, their aviation, shipping
and deforestation.....The report also included methane
and nitrous oxide gases.......
The news article also noted that China has committed
itself to improving energy efficiency but has rejected
mandatory emission cuts requested by the international
community......China says that any cuts could slow their
economic growth and cause social unrest.......
It appears that China does not give a "scite" and is telling
the rest of the world to "buzz off"........Pumps
