Canada, July 1936

The Edmonton, Alberta SUN newspaper printed an interesting
article regarding an event that happened some 70 years ago.....

For a 10 day period in early July, 1936 the Provinces of Canada
from Alberta, in the west, to Ontario, in the east, were subjected
to a heat wave.....The excessive heat caused the death of 780
people, (remember pre-AC days).....Temperatures ran as high
as 113 F (or 43 C)......

It is a pity that Al Gore was not around then......He could have
told us what the Canadians had done wrong to cause such
warming of the Earth.......Maybe they are still doing it and it
is 'creeping' across the border into the US?......Pumps
