The Dollar Store
It looks like the Dollar Store is here to stay and has become
another thread in the retail fabric of America.......What
started as the 69 cent store, then 88 cent store selling
inexpensive items from China is now here to stay.......
While 90 percent of the items in the store are made in
China, other nations and US companies are making
products which can be 'sized' and sold for one dollar......
If it can be sold for a 'buck', then sell it in a Dollar Store....
Since everything will eventually go up in price or the
packaging so small, it will not be worth buying, I suggest
that if you find something you like for a buck than buy
a few of them, provided it has a long shelf live like
packaging tape or plastic kitchen items......
A few years from now there will be less packaging tape
on the roll for a buck and the kitchen item which lasted
5 years will be replace by one that only lasts 2.......
Then of course there is the fear that the Store itself
will be renamed the Dollar Ninety-Nine Cents Store....Pumps
