Once Upon A Time #17
There was a lot more "free" stuff on the internet.....Ten years
ago when "www." became the new rage everybody was giving
everything away....Large multi-million dollar corporations
were formed over night, some people made millions, THEN
it came crashing down....Millionaire to pauper overnight....
The "bubble burst".....
Now ten years later, everybody wants money.....Subscribe to
this, update to that, print a picture - 16 cent please, want a
song - 99 cents please.......Its all has gone from one extreme
to another......Dial-Up service, DSL and Broadband have their
costs....The, once millionaire, wants to recover from his
misjudgment of a decade ago......
(All dollar figures are in American money)......Currently in
Australia they want to drop the cost of a Broadband connection
from $13 to $9......Monthly charges in America now run
between $45 and $55.......The freebies are gone......Pumps
