Pumps' Perplexities

A word that has been used in novels for years to depict a
violent storm...."Batten down the hatches" or "Shutter
the house" etc......The wrath of God has descended upon
the wicked......

Well since it is the winter this nor'easter will bring snow....
A summer one would bring rain.....The Northeast portion
of the United States is preparing.....Snow plows "at the
ready".....Supermarkets void of beer, soda, potato chips
and frozen pizza......All await the destruction......

The "youngin's" never remember the BIG storms.....They
just have not lived long enough....Us "olde farts" do
remember.....We remember when 12" or 18" of snow was
"fun and frolic" time.....You just stayed at home and waited
for the snow to melt.....

Today the "youngin's" can not wait....They have things to
do and places to see.....But for some reason it only takes
3"-5" for them to stay home.....And complain.....

God's wrath is now 5" of snow.....Boy have times changed....
