Pumps' Perplexities

Although I may be some thirty years removed from the
ski slopes of Vermont, the current Olympic USA athletics
are showing signs of bad qualities I noticed those many
years ago......

"HOT DOG".....Classic words for SHOW OFF,
EXHIBITIONIST, BRAZEN.....

It worked well at the local ski resort.....It got you attention,
a few free drinks and all the companionship you wanted....
You did something no one else "dared" to do....EGO good.....

In the Olympics a "good show" does not seem to work.....It
is the years of trial and effort, training and perfection of the
"craft" what wins the GOLD.......HOT DOGS just win BEERS....
