Pumps' Perplexities

There was no plastic wrap.....Because there was no plastic.....
It seems that plastic is used these days to enclose everything
you buy......Nothing is no longer unwrapped, sold loose or
unprotected from the public......

A drinking straw is now served to you in a paper wrapper.....
Untouched by any other human hand prior to your use.....
Butter in no long cut from a 3'x3'x3' block but rather neatly
wrapped in four little bars in a package......God help us if a
penny piece of candy does not have a piece of plastic on it.....

When you went to school, you were taught that there were
good germs and bad germs.....It seems that lawyers,
marketing people and right down to the individual human
themself, FEAR A GERM......Everything is anti-bacterial
in this day and age.....Did you ever think that your
ancestors never knew of the word and if it were not for them,
you would not be here?.....Pumps
