Pumps' Perplexities

Here I sit and it is cold outside.....Some people say it is warmer
outside.....It is 1 degree centigrade* warmer, since the weather
temperatures have been recorded a 150 years ago...And this is
the end of the earth, as we know it......

We have 4000 years of recorded history (forget the hundreds
of thousands before stone carvings and papyrus) without
precise earth temperature measurements, what is the value
of the last 150 in the total equation?.......Nothing......

Since people really can not answer questions, especially if they
are getting paid to do so, they have to produce at least a
theory.....Theory is a nice word for GUESS....But I suspect
if you have gone to a fancy college, you will not pass your
PHD exam if you use the word GUESS.....However use
the word THEORY and it is "magnum cum laude" down the
graduation aisle ........Pumps
