Pumps' Perplexities

As a child you were taken to Coney Island and enjoyed a ride
on the "Merry-Go-Round".....If you sat on the outer, and
up-down, group of horses you had a chance of grabbing a
"Brass Ring" from a chute or dispenser which entitled you
to another "free" ride......(Some horses on the ride are
stationary.).....

As you went round and round, and up and down, you tried
to grab a "Brass Ring" for its dispenser.......Let's face it a
"free" ride saved your parents money.....Besides it was a sense
of success and accomplishment to present this "prize" to the
ride's operator, for another ride.....

Well the "Brass Ring" is now made in China of white-metal
and painted......The lawyers have filed enough law suits
representing parents who had their child hurt a hand in the
quest of success.....The "Merry-Go-Round" and the
dinosaur are now on common ground.....

Knowledge comes with failure.....Gain comes with pain.....
Too many children are being denied these life's experiences....
