Olde Dial/Pulse Telephone

When good olde Ma Bell was forced to break up in 1986 their
Western Electric Division started to sell off their telephone
hand sets.....These telephone units were indestructible...
At the same time the phone system changed from pulse
dialing to tone dialing....

The pulse dial telephone operates on an electrical supply
of very low voltage.....There are still some tone phones
which also operate this way....Most tone systems now
require a transformer and 120 volts to work....No electric,
no phone....(Unless you have a cell phone and good
batteries.).....

The benefit of a pulse telephone is that you can not "Press 1"....
One day a sharp lawyer will make a lot of money for his/her
client because the other party, in the case, could not accept a
"non Press 1" telephone call....

That olde dial/pulse telephone is now 20 years old....The voice
transmissions are clear as a "bell"......It does have a few modern
"draw-backs" though.....It does not take pictures, receive text
messages and connect with the internet....Pumps
