Once Upon A Time #3

Once upon a time there was the 60 to 75 minute movie...
These little "gems" were always a grade "B" film and
used as the second half of a "double bill"....

For the admission fee of 18 cents, you got to see the
"premiere" film, the shortened "B", a handful of
cartoons and the newsreel....A Saturday matinee could
have you in a movie seat for almost 4 hours after they
added the next "Chapter" episode and a travelogue or
other "Short"...

Turner Classic Movies should be commended for showing
these short "B" films...They are little "classics", in there
own right, and were a good "proving ground" to a lot
of young actors and other people in the movie industry...
