Over the past twenty years, we have all become accustomed
to the UPC (bar code) on every package, of anything, we
purchase....The forthcoming years will produce the arrival
of the EPC....The Electronic Product Code...

The new EPC will use, and place into mass production, RFID
technology, used to track open range cattle movement for
years...Radio Frequency Identification....

The EPC/RFID technology is great for use in manufacturing,
distribution and store inventory systems, but if the "transmitter"
is allowed to remain intact, it can transmit from your person
or home....If a device sends a radio signal to it, it will send it
back and provide all information contained in it...

Fire when controlled will cook your food, uncontrolled it will
burn down your house...The EPC/RFID will also need some
controls...Especially when it is inbedded in your driver's
licence...Pumps
