Pumps' Perplexities

All the large communication conglomerates want you to buy
every service they offer...My cable company is offering,
TV cable service, High Speed Internet service, and local/
long distance telephone service...

They fail to realize that if the "fibre optic cable" has a
problem you are "up a creek without a paddle"....(Unless
you have a cell phone and that is another conglomerate.)...
Years ago if you lost electrical power at least your rotary
telephone worked so you could call the electric company...

Combining communication services into one "basket" is a
no-no...It limits your options...It is nice to have everything
under one roof at times, department stores for instance...
But TV cable, internet service, telephone and cell phone
service should all be separate...It is just a matter of simple
survival....Pumps
